Rein Audio Xignature Power Cable reached Earmass!

Rein Audio is professional audio equipment company from Germany. While many might have not heard of them, but their DAC and Xignature cable has some respectable performance in Audiophile world, me over here today will be reviewing Rein Audio  Xignature Power Cord Cable that is 890USD.

Description, Outlook and Packaging

Luxury Packaging, you can tell that Xignature is quite high end from the packaging along.

I received the parcel few days ago and when I received it, I thought it is a DAC or something (I can’t tell from the wrapping), it is big and heavy in size, from the weight and size, I will never thought that it is a CABLE!

Warning! It is heavy and big in size

After I opened up the wrapping I am just simply stumble, why? There is even a special box to put the cable inside. The box itself is luxurious and make you appreciated what you have paid. I open the box and examine the Xignature power cord.

OH LORD! The power cable itself is really thick, tough, fat, heavy and big! Well, this is the thickest and most luxury cable that I have ever encountered with in house electric appliances. Finishing and build quality is nothing else but EXCELLENT and build to last.

Compare with Charleston Cable Company top of the line Power cable, Xignature is obviously heavier and thicker.

I keep holding it because I appreciated how Rein Audio design the cable, I can definitely told you that this cable is some high end piece.

Tested connecting to Yulong Audio D100 II and Bravo Audio Rock, with Soundmagic HP-100, Shure Se425 and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250 Ohm.All equipment have been burning in.
How it looks certainly is not as important as how it sounded. However I can tell you that Xignature Power Cable sounded Godly.

First of all, I will not be comparing Xignature Power Cable to some of the stock cable, reason is obvious, this is an adult game, I am not going to throw kids inside the arena.

Being confident when you look at it?

So how should I start with? I am not going to write a long review, the sound differences is straight forward. Listening with Rein Audio Xignature Power Cable is like listening to a lively performance.

First, high frequency has been improved further, much further even from the already good Charleston Cable Company UP-OCC, Xsignature cable made Charleston Cable Company cable sounded dead instantly and upon comparison. Treble response is seriously sparkly and revealing, extension is better as well.

In action

Plug it in

While praise for the treble, I have to say that dynamic, realism of sound and detail level has been bring up to another level. Imaging is great, each of the sound has more space to ‘breathe’.

Overall sound quality is improved not only a little but an obvious one. I instantly detected the sound difference once I changed the cable.

Conclusion

Big

Tie your cable

I have no question why some of the most critical audiophile seeks cable as one of the most important sound component, I admitted that 890USD is a truly stiff price though but for those who already ‘invest’ more than us, they knew why upgrading a cable is important, because it simply will sounded a lot better.
